This year the kids did some jobs for me to earn money to buy each other gifts. We took a trip to the dollar store and they each had three dollars in hand...enough to buy each sibling a gift, but nothing for themselves. I brought fabric bags for them, so they could quickly stash their choices inside and keep them hidden from each other. We took turns checking out and then wrapping at home. They loved this and come Christmas morning the most exciting thing for them was watching their siblings open the gift they had bought them.

Drawing Phase-Dec 2011
Estella went through a long phase of drawing on forbidden surfaces. I finally gave up cleaning up after her (or having her clean up after herself) and decided I would clean it all once she was finished. I'm not sure when it stopped, but I haven't seen any new art for a while, so I think it is safe to begin cleaning :)
I didn't know where else to put this picture, but I couldn't leave it out. There is something about the back of this little boy's neck that calls to be nibbled and munched on!

Bananas- December 2011
The next 15 or so posts are going to be a fast paced catch up of life while (and a bit before) I was sick sick sick! I am so happy to be feeling better and finally getting a handle on things again.
I don't even remember what started the silliness with the bananas...
