Here are a few pics of little Essie Boo...well...more than a few. I sold a bit of furniture out of our 'studio' and bought a backdrop stand, two backdrops, and a reflector with the money. The reflector hasn't come yet, so you will see that in all of these pictures, one side of her face needs a bit more light. I just couldn't wait to try out the background, though.

Jen I am out of suggestions because I am not no picture taker, I can't believe how big she has gotten. What a sweetheart.
I am sooooo impressed with your picture taking skills. I haven't ventured off of the Automatic settings! Where should I begin? I don't even know what it all means!
(BTW-I wouldn't click on that Berto guy...you can click on the trash can and permanently delete the message.)
Those are great photos... you must have sold a LOT of furniture! I love the 5th from the top... it's my favorite. Can you increase the shutter speed at all? That would be my suggestion. Good luck. They look great!
P.S. How do you get the large photos on your blog? They are HUGE!
Sorry, no recommendations- just compliments. These photos look fabulous! What a great talent and hobby you have!
I love these. I am not a photographer either, so your last paragraph was pretty much a foreign language to me. :) Good luck though, I really look forward to viewing more great photos of your cute kiddos.
Jen-this is Laura Shirley-I found your blog from Amanda's-I don't know if finding Grand Junction people's blogs was such a good idea-it makes me realize how much I miss Colorado. Anyway your pictures are amazing-I really don't think there is anything you could do to improve them!
You're quite the photographer! That's a talent I wish I had!!! Your plog is adorable!!!
