"School" has been going great for us so far. These pictures are from our first week. The house is messy, there are books everywhere, the dishes are often piled in the sink, but we are happy (usually), we are reading a lot, and the kids are learning. I am still working on the balance...housework, teaching the boys, playing with the little ones (Estella mostly), and keeping up with other obligations. I am surprised, however, at how much more I can get done than I thought I would be able to. Here are a few pictures from our first week.
Alexander is often on my hip. Estella is still too rough with him and it is too dangerous to leave him unattended where she can get to him. Eventually this won't be the case, but for now it is and I really don't mind it. I love having an excuse to hold my sweet baby.

Oh, I've been waiting for an update! SO glad to hear it is going well. You are super mom for sure. I have dishes in the sink, messes all over, and still send my kids to school. I rethink it all the time though- especially mornings like today, after having them home for an entire week of spring break. I'm impressed you are making it work!
