Happy Birthday Me!

My birthday was wonderful this year! I am so lucky to have a sweet husband and darling children who spoiled me rotten. All day I was pampered, hugged, sang to, and loved. They cleaned, cooked, and gifted me. Thank you dear family!

Jackson made me brownies because I like them 100x better than cake. He even made them from scratch. They were delicious!

Aunt Jamie- "Essie, do you go to preschool yet?"

Essie- "No, I will go to preschool when I am four." Pause..."But don't worry, I'll still love you when I am four."

In Fillmore there was a chicken in the back yard. Grandpa sent Nicholas and Thomas out to chase it back to the neighbor's yard. Thomas got to the chicken first and it started running in a big circle. As it came around the circle, Nicholas was running along behind and the chicken was coming straight at him. He threw his hands up in the air and started screaming! The chicken didn't get much closer before it gave up and flew over the fence.

About an hour later Aunt Jamie overheard Nicholas saying, "I thought that chicken was going to peck me to a frazzle!"
