Some News...

We are expecting baby #5. We are very excited and feel so lucky. I am sick...the nausea gets worse with each pregnancy. I am still figuring out how to cope.

We had a doctor's appointment yesterday. We heard the heartbeat and saw the sweet little baby via ultrasound. (I'll scan the ultrasound sometime). The due date is September 4th, which makes me think it is a boy because that is right when all of our other boys have been born. I am 8 weeks in and praying for the next two months to pass quickly (last pregnancy I kept throwing up until after 16 weeks).

We are planning on adding on to our house. We have three bedrooms and this baby will make a total of 7 people in our family. We looked at selling and buying a new house, but it didn't feel right. We are hoping to start construction in March...depending on how long the loan papers and architecture work take. Does anyone have suggestions or experience with extensive home additions?

Hooray! I'm so happy for you guys! Every precious life is a gift from the Creator. I was just thinking about you today, haven't seen you in a while and I'm glad to hear the good news. I'll be in touch to see if I can help while you are in this difficult stage of pregnancy. {But really, does pregnancy ever get easy?!} Anyway, congrats!!

That's s great Jen! Hope you start feeling better soon. You looked great at the reception. :) Adding onto the house sounds like an adventure. My parents did that while I was on my mission. It's great when it is done! :)

JEN!!!!! YAY! I am soooo excited for you! Can you get on Zofran? The nausea, oh my friend, how I can empathize... it gets worse, and it just STAYS and stays! The dr. cooperated and let me start taking Zofran at 5 weeks this time, and that is the only reason I am alive at this moment. Either way, a boy or a girl, SO FUN. I am glad Alexander will have a little sibling close in age - siblings are the best. I am so giddy for you. Just think, a new baby!

And house constructing, wow! We have never owned a home, so I have no advice on this subject... but I sure can't wait to see the results.

Congratulations! Like Mary, I too took Zofran from about week 5 or 6. I also ended up taking phenigren(sp?) at night...the two really helped.

Exciting that you're doing some home construction. We haven't done anythign that major, just redoing bathrooms etc. But I'd like to add onto our kitchen so let me know how it goes.

Jen, we met a builder that we absolutely LOVE and that receives raving reviews by everyone around town (other contractors, loan officers, home owners, etc). I've never asked if he does home additions, but if so, I would 100% recommend him for your project.

Congratulations! The little baby is a very lucky one to go to such a fun and awesome family!
So I went to Fillmore over Pres Day weekend and went to the temple and saw your dad there. That was pretty cool. I hope you are feeling better-
