Yes, that is mascara on his eyes. Jackson is the one who gave in to the whining and just let him have free reign on the ice cream cone in the van!!!
This white disaster is cream of tartar. He found an unopened jar in the pantry, unscrewed the lid, found scissors, used them to open the seal and powdered the less than 1 week old couch.
