Estella is well on her way to being a reader! She finished the 50th lesson of this book on Friday so we all went out for ice cream to celebrate. She feels so empowered. She has been writing notes and letters to people every day. The Easter bunny brought her some alphabet stamps which she was just thrilled about. These are some pictures of her reading some Bob books to Daddy before bed. She was so excited to show him that she could read them all by herself. Good job my sweet Essie!

I think teaching our children to read is one of the coolest things a parent can have the privilege of doing. What a lifelong skill and what a positive start. Way to go Essie {and mom & dad}!
