East of Grand Junction, there is a mountain called "The Grand Mesa." It is the largest flattop mountain in the world (at least that's what people around here tell me). The last two Sundays in September are called Color Sunday on the Mesa. We wanted to get out and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful colors, so we drove up to the ski resort and hiked along the cat trails (I'm not sure if that's a technical term, but that's what Jackson calls them). My favorite picture of the day is below.

Gorgeous! The vibrancy in those photos is amazing. I love the one the three kids together. It looks like they are great friends.
Fun times we need to get to the mountains soon while we still can. I miss you guys
Oh man. Those leaves are BEAUTIFUL! I miss the leaves changing in the mtns. Here it's pine trees that obviously don't change. BOO. Your family is darling.
That picture of the 3 kids is postcard perfect! You have a darling family!!
I love it. Fall is wonderful--I just wish winter didn't have to come so soon after! :) It's so fun to look at all of your pictures.
How beautiful! It's amazing to see all those colors. The pictures are awesome, and I love the kids all together - priceless.
How sweet they are! I'd frame that one for sure.
The colors on the Aspens are amazing! It is crazy for me to think that leaves are changing colors when it is still so hot here-it is like endless summer!

How precious! I love it!
What amazing pictures! I am so sad we didn't make it up there to see the leaves before the snow arrived. How lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place!
