Here are a few pictures from Jackson's January Group Cello lesson. He had a "pre-Twinkle" class in the studio...
...and a regular class in our living room because there is more room. I convinced Thomas to join in even though he has to play the songs he knows on different strings than he is used to. He did really well.
When do you think is a good age to start lessons on strings? Elisabeth started piano when she turned 6 and has done really well. Charlie is 5 and we have a lady in our ward that teaches violin and we'd like him to start sometime...but I don't know when and I don't want to waste my money if he's too young (meaning if I waited a year and he was able to make up the difference of what he would've learned the year before because he's a little older, in a short amount of time). Anyway, just wanted to get your thoughts.
Oh my goodness, that looks like SO much fun! I bet Jackson is having a blast. And your living room is beautiful, by the way. I've never seen a wide-angle of rooms in your home.
And to answer your question, I just threw up a blanket for the valentine backdrop. Worked well enough for me!
