While Thomas was working on a merit badge for scouts he found a caterpillar and brought it home. I recognized it as the caterpillar that turns into a monarch butterfly. Luckily Thomas had also brought home some milkweed, so we started feeding it. Within a day or two it had formed a chrysalis. It was so fun watch!
