Window Basher

We often have birds fly into our front windows in the morning. There must be a glare or something on them, because they sure aren't clean enough for them to think they can fly through! Usually we all run to see if the bird is okay and it has already flown off. This time, though, the bird was laying on the ground, alive, but stunned. Jackson picked it up and brought it on the front porch so we could all look at it. It was kept falling asleep and was having a hard time standing up.

It was so beautiful I had to take some pictures of it. We went inside to eat breakfast and by the time we were finished it had already recovered and flown away.

Soccer games

Kindergarten Music Program

Thomas had his end of year Kindergarten music program toward the beginning of May. It was so fun to watch the excitement of all the children. Thomas did a great job with all of the songs and actions. I think he sang every word. He was very excited and honored to be the one to get out and put away the parachute they used at one point in the program. He did his job perfectly. This first picture is of him putting the parachute away. His principal Mr. Schmaltz is in the foreground of the photo.

Bike Riding

One of the kids favorite afternoon activities is riding bikes in our front yard. We live on a corner, so we have lots of sidewalk and driveway. Thomas is to the point where he wants to go farther, so I let him ride down to the end of the cultisac and back. He loves it.

The baby bump...when it was still little. It is MUCH bigger now.

Estella has figured out how to pedal and steer. She LOVES riding around wearing a helmet like the big boys :)

Dying Easter Eggs

Here's a flashback to Easter. My previous two and next 10 or so posts are all flashbacks.

The kids LOVE dying Easter eggs. Me...it is fun, but a lot of work with three kids. I put one of the boys old shirts on Estella and that helped me relax a little bit.
