Family Home Evening

Monday at about 4:45 Jackson called from work and said, "Let's have a picnic on the Monument for Family Home Evening." So I threw some food in the cooler and loaded the kids in the van and off we went. It was so refreshing. We ate with the warm sun on our backs and cool breeze on our faces. The sun started going down so we "chased" it as long as we could. The boys had a great time exploring and climbing. Here are a few pictures Jackson took.

That sounds like so much fun. I am kind of partial to on the fly family activities like that! It's always fun to find yourself doing something you hadn't planned at all.

I really like the picture of you and the kids. You have a beautiful family, and you are such a youthful and pretty mom! It looks like you are growing your hair out again too, I always admired your long glossy hair when you were my roommate. :)

Looks like you guys had fun. We need to do more of that kind of theing. We need to first learn where things like that are around here. We just know where the Hospital and stores that we go to are, and the Temple and church of course. We need to be more adventures. When did you get glasses have you just worn contacts then those at home or are they new? I just started wearing contacts and am loving it. You look cuter in glasses than me too!!

Jen that looks like so much fun. I cannot believe how big your kids are. I can't wait for Kadee to get a little bigger so we can do fun stuff outside.
