Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a delightful day.  We went on a family hike up Serpent's Trail.  Our valley was in an inversion, so it was cold cold cold at the beginning of the hike.  The higher and higher we hiked, the warmer it got.  The air also get cleaner and cleaner as we went up.  I didn't want to come down!

We watched a movie together that afternoon and then went to Grandma Chelle and Bubba's house for dinner, singing songs, and opening presents.  Halfway through our unwrapping frenzy, the Foutz family treated us to some fabulous carols and yummy bread.

Your kids are so beautiful, inside and out. I'm sitting waiting for parents to come to parent-teacher conference stalking your blog. I love looking at your pictures so much! You and Jackson are some fantastic parents. I love you!
