Hanging with the Markhams

Jackson had quite a few drill days to make up from times he missed during the winter when it is hard to get over the mountain.  We decided to schedule them during our spring break and make a trip out of it.  The kids and I stayed with the Markhams and played while poor Daddy had to work.  He came back a few evenings and played with us.

One of the days we drove down to the zoo.  We love the zoo!

Eleanor had just recently been potty trained, so she and I went into every bathroom we passed and spent a lot of time doing this :)  Side note:  She has been the easiest child I have ever potty trained.  She really did it herself.  Phew...what a relief!

We spent a few evenings playing at the park just down the street.

One afternoon we went to a trampoline park.  We had the best time!  The kids got completely worn out.  By the end of our time the littlest ones were laying down.  It was great!

Our biggest adventure was the bike ride.  We borrowed bikes from Aunt Kara's friend.  We thought we knew where we were going but got lost, and lost, and lost.  We didn't give up, though and FINALLY found the trail.  We unloaded the bikes only to find a flat flat tire.  We didn't have a pump.  After asking several people if they had one, with no luck, we were about to give up when a nice looking man rode by with a pump hanging out his bike basket.  Aunt Kara chased him down, we pumped up and were on our way.  It was a great ride and worth the trouble.
