Thomas had his Book 2 recital during Christmas break. I always wait until they are about half-way through the next book before holding their Book recitals. It seems that they are much more prepared and confident this way. Thomas did wonderfully...I was the one that made all the mistakes. I am going to have to hire a pianist for his next recital...the accompaniments are getting hard for me and I just don't seem to have the time to practice enough! We held the recital at Grandma Berry's retirement center and had a big audience.
