We live on a corner lot. The backyard has no grass right now. It is just dirt and some weeds. The front yard grass looks fine. It is just pretty normal looking. I was feeling glad that the dead ugliness was all in the backyard so I didn't have to worry about my neighbors having to look at it all the time. I was thinking that I was keeping things looking pretty nice in the front yard. Then we went for a family walk around the neighborhood. I was VERY surprised to see a thick forest of spent dandelions in the side yard. I guess I rarely go over there. I kind of wish I hadn't seen it because now I feel like I have to do something about it :)
